- One compact camera?
The most compact of the three S14 configurations is
the Mobotix S14M (Mono) IP camera version in which the dome camera sensor is mounted within its base module.
This compact S14 may be mounted on cladding up to 6.4mm thick, with only the small dome camera sensor visible,
and the base module securely hidden. With each dome camera sensor having a panoramic 360 degree fish-eye
lens and Megapixel resolution, one S14M may replace multiple IP cameras from other companies. Choose
white or black dome camera sensors to blend with any home décor.
- One FlexMount camera?
Alternatively, the S14M (Mono) IP camera is also
available with the dome camera sensor separated from the base module by a flexible 2m cable.
This configuration allows the tiny S14 camera sensor to be installed in locations
where little space is available, or behind panels up to 2m thick by adding optional 40mm
panel extensions as needed. A 15 degree angle wedge is also supplied to make better use of
the S14 cameras panoramic field of view.
- Or two FlexMount cameras?
The S14D (Dual) version supports two mini dome
camera sensors up to 2m from one shared securely hidden base module, allowing you to cover
two adjacent rooms or areas, two perspectives, or to provide optimised day and night surveillance
using a 3 Megapixel colour camera sensor and a highly sensitive B&W camera sensor.
- Inside or outside?
The mini dome camera sensors and the base station are
both weatherproof (IP65 rated), so you may cover outside areas, or moist inside rooms.
- Record lip-sync audio?
Each S14 mini dome camera sensor includes a sensitive
microphone and the ability to record lip-sync audio along with Megapixel video. Alternatively, if you need to
ensure that audio is never recorded for privacy reasons, the S14's microphone may be permanently disabled.
- Two-way handsfree conversations?
The S14 base station may directly drive a
discrete flush-mount speaker, and you may conduct two-way conversations from a PC
running free Mobotix Control Center software, or from your smart phones or tablets using free
SIP call Apps.
- Down-light sized speakers?
Krix Holographix are ideal
for use with your tiny Mobotix S14 IP cameras, and are suitable for use inside or outside,
and in humid or smokey locations.
- Vandal resistant?
Weatherproof S14 Mobotix IP cameras are extremely tough,
thanks to the rugged low-visibility dome camera modules, hidden base module and connectors, high build
quality, and the absence of any moving parts. These cameras typically remain fully operational
after strong vibration.
- Notifications?
A shock sensor included in the S14 dome camera,
sounds above a variable level, sophisticated image movement analysis within the camera
base module, or home automation integrated inputs, may trigger:
a) Its own notification to you over the Internet.
b) Audio and video recording of the offender.
c) A third party security system that notifies you and/or a security monitoring center.
d) Local visual indication via programmable LED indicators on the tiny S14 camera dome sensors.
e) Local audio announcements or sounds via an external speaker driven by directly by the S14 base module.
- Home automation integration?
Clever Home may integrate your Mobotix S14 IP cameras with your home automation system using
locally hardwired Mobotix CamIO and ExtIO modules, or two-way IP communication with IP-supporting
devices (like the Wiser home controller,
C-Bus
6.4" touch screen, or the integriti security
panel) to:
a) Automatically record during security entry and alarm events.
b) Manually record anytime from your home automation wall switches,
touch screens
and Wiser mobile device apps.
c) Detect sounds above a programmable preset level using the Mobotix S14 IP camera's inbuilt microphone,
to automatically trigger recording, and also activate nearby C-Bus lighting if it is dark.

The official Mobotix
iPad/iPhone App provides a premium quality mobile user interface to your Mobotix S14 IP
cameras, and you may download it for free from the Apple Apps Store.
